What are the lifestyle opportunities in and around Rockwall, Texas. Are there hiking clubs, biking trails, civic clubs, golf clubs, local arts and theater, lakes, streams, fishing, boating, camping or other types of lifestyle opportunities?

Ohmigosh! Boating, including sailing and yachting club races here on Lake Ray Hubbard! Regattas (sp?)! So nice to watch, especially during the evening sunset hours! I’ve been informed that Lake Ray Hubbard is now the #1 bass lake in Texas. If fishing boats are a measure…it must be. Pick your lifestyle…hiking…yes. There are several nature trails in the area! Biking…you bet. Many biking trails too…in Rockwall, Rowlett and, of course, in nearby Dallas at White Rock Lake. Civic Clubs? We have them all…you choose: Exchange Club, Lions Club; Rotary; Kiwanis (yes, I know I left out many of them. Churches are numerous. Lakepointe Church is probably the largest, with over 12,000 people. If you like large churches there are others, somewhat smaller-but still “large”. Naturally, there are church “sizes” that fit everyone. Please do join us! You won’t ever need to drive into Dallas for a fine restaurant, a leisure restaurant (which, no doubt, will overlook the lake), a “hamburger” spot or a fast-food placer. Rockwall has them all. Just give it a try! Super!
